Building peace through traditional institutions, Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN promised to the traditional institution three things on Assumption of office: to present Staff of Office to the traditional rulers in their kingdoms; none political interference in the selection process of any monarch.
Most importantly, Mr Governor promised to discourage long reign of regents in communities where the king joins his ancestors. Arakunrin is keeping to his words and building peace through his policies – neutrality, recognition and installation.
